Houston videos now available

December 13, 2017

From Bishop Bob Hayes to Cara Nicklas, and from Rev. Jennifer Cowart to Rev. Jeff Greenway, all the great videos from the Wesleyan Covenant Association’s 2017 Global Gathering are now available for viewing or downloading at HERE.

Hosted at The Woodlands United Methodist Church in The Woodlands, Texas (the denomination’s third largest church), and beamed live to 64 simulcast sites in all five U.S. jurisdictions, over 2,300 people across the country worshipped together and heard outstanding presentations! It was an incredible day demonstrating what’s possible for the vibrant, Wesleyan expression of the Christian faith.

You will want to share these inspiring videos with Sunday School classes, small groups, and your church’s leadership team so they can catch a vision of a confident, imaginative, and faithful future for the people called Methodists! Each presentation is approximately 20 minutes, making each one an excellent resource for starting critical and hopeful conversations in your local church.

At the Global Gathering, the Wesleyan Covenant Association also proudly released A Firm Foundation: Hope and Vision for a New Methodist Future.  This book, and the companion DVD hosted by the Rev. Jessica LaGrone, chaplain at Asbury Theological Seminary, provides an additional resource to focus on the core elements of a vibrant orthodox Methodist movement.  Copies of this book and the DVD may be ordered at HERE.

The Wesleyan Covenant Association is firmly committed to igniting a new movement of God among the people called Methodist. The United Methodist Church is changing. The shape of the future is uncertain. But for our part, we are excited and committed to being a warm-hearted, spirit-filled movement for sharing the transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ! If you are not a member of the Wesleyan Covenant Association, join thousands of others by clicking HERE.
