Carolyn Moore to Address WCA’s Fifth Global Gathering, Go Global!

The Wesleyan Covenant Association is honored to announce that the Rev. Dr. Carolyn Moore, the lead pastor at Mosaic Church in Evans, Georgia, will make a presentation at its Fifth Global Gathering – Go Global! – at Frazer Church in Montgomery, Alabama, on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

“Carolyn is a dynamo firmly focused on sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with people who feel lost and forsaken,” said the Rev. Keith Boyette, President of the WCA. “As a unique church planter she has blazed a path for those who hear Christ’s call to go to the streets, the lanes, and the roads to invite people to the great feast he has prepared for them.”

At the Global Gathering, Moore will deliver an address entitled, “Move: Going to Europe,” as she challenges her listeners to consider the Apostle Paul’s vision to go to Europe and the people who become his partners in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Moore is the founding pastor of Mosaic Church, a congregation with an intentional mission to minister with single mothers, those working to overcome addictions, people recently released from prison, and families who find themselves struggling at the margins. She has served as the church’s pastor for 18 years.

“Carolyn Moore is the real deal,” said Pastor Jen Cowart, the executive pastor at The Harvest, a United Methodist Congregation in Byron, Georgia. “Carolyn’s passion to seek Christ is reflected in her life, writings and the way she shares God’s love. As a speaker she is absolutely captivating. I am proud to call her a friend and co-worker in God’s fields.”

Moore received a Bachelor of Art degree from the University of Georgia (Athens, Georgia) and Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary (Wilmore, Kentucky). In addition to serving as the lead pastor at Mosaic, Moore is also the chairwoman of the Wesleyan Covenant Association’s Global Council. A prolific author, Moore’s most recent book is Supernatural: Experiencing the Power of God’s Kingdom, and she regularly posts essays on her website The Art of Holiness. She also hosts The Art of Holiness Podcast.

She and her husband Steve Moore live in Evans, Georgia.
