The United Methodist General Conference is just three weeks away.
If you are a delegate, you are “crazy busy” right now. Too much to read. Too much to hear. Too many connections to make. Too many details. In. Just. Three. Weeks.
No long read here. We are not hell-bent on disrupting the coming General Conference. Far from it. We’re ready to move on…except for just one thing. You’re probably ready to move on, too, right?
Except maybe this “one thing” it troubling you, too.
In just 2 minutes, 30 seconds you’ll see the primary reason we will be present, praying, and advocating in Charlotte. Tuck it in your mind, heart, and prayers. Vote accordingly. We’ll be grateful…and so will many others. And then we can all move forward.
Ready to have a look at our one request?
Many thanks to Pastor Ed Rodarmel, WCA Jurisdictional Co-Coordinator, for creating the video.
The Wesleyan Covenant Association has just one appeal to General Conference delegates. Whether the disaffiliation situation is the way it is by design, by default, or as a matter of unintended consequences, at this point is irrelevant. But delegates in Charlotte have a choice.
So here is our request to the General Conference delegates: Make It Right.
Thank you.
